Office Manager/Administrative Assistant
A native of Louisiana, Annie has found her true home in the mountains of western North Carolina. She began her career life as a paramedic, then moved into veterinary technology. Volunteering at the local animal shelter eventually led to a career move in the field of law enforcement, where she joined the Animal Services Bureau, specializing in the investigation of animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect.
Vacationing here led her to consider a full time move to the mountains when she retired. She met and married a local man. She and Wayne love to travel, but never tire of the ever changing beauty which surrounds them. Several children, grandchildren, and two dogs keep them busy.
Annie also loves using her culinary skills, particularly French, Creole, and Cajun cuisine. She quilts, a longtime family tradition, and enjoys making music playing several instruments. (She finally learned to play a banjo, which her mother finds to be a most un-ladylike endeavor.) Giving back to the community is very important to her, and she makes time for several charities that are close to her heart.
Annie is looking forward to an enjoyable and rewarding time at Highlands Cove Realty, and hopes to be of assistance to other employees, as well as our clients.
